Degree Requirements

Students have to complete 33 credits in 16 months to obtain a Master’s degree in Development Studies. They are required to complete three compulsory courses in Academic Disciplines and Development Theories, Executive Skills in Development Management and Development Research. Besides the compulsory courses, they need to choose and complete four optional courses from a wide range of subjects in areas of Markets, Civil Society, Human Rights, Indigenous Knowledge, Natural Resource Management, Education, Environment, Population, Communication, Micro-Credit, Poverty etc The final course is Research and Writing of a Master’s thesis.
