Mushfeqa Islam has done her graduation and post-graduation from University of Dhaka. She has got Professor Sitara Parveen Memorial Scholarship for her brilliant result on her BSS. She has started her career as a journalist at Daily Prothom Alo. Then she shifted to the academia in 2018. She teaches undergraduate courses from journalism and advertising stream. her areas of interest are ‘Media and Journalism’, ‘Advertising Copywriting’ and ‘Gender Communication’.
She worked as a staff reporter at Prothom Alo for two years. Now she is teaching at IUB from January, 2018. She has also worked as a subcommittee convener at ‘Second International Conference on Teaching and Learning’ by Center for Pedagogy, IUB.
