Chaitra Shankranti Celebration at IUB

To mark the last day of Bangla year, the School of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences of Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) organized a day-long Chaitra Songkranti Utsab on Wednesday, 13 April 2016 at IUB campus in Bashundhara, Dhaka.
The day was celebrated with Bangali folk music and traditional fair. Stage performance included Punti recitation by Saidur Rahman Boyati, Palagaan by Milon Boyati, Baul and Mystic music by Shahjahan Munshi and a theatre performance by IUB Theatre.
Prof M Omar Rahman, Vice Chancellor, IUB inaugurated the programmes.
